On 12 March 2021, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duangporn Nacapunchai, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Service, College of Allied Health Sciences Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, the U2T project leader, asked U2T project researchers to monitor the emerging infectious disease at Village 2, Bang Ja Kreng District, in Samut Songkhram.
