Assistant Professor Dr. Wanwimon Mekwimon Kingkaew, a lecturer in the Department of Community Public Health, along with Ms.Sasipen Krutchangthong, a lecturer in the Department of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine, College of Allied Health Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus

Organized a Thai herbal compress production workshop for fourth-year students in the Department of Community Health in the course "Thai Wisdom and Alternative Medicine."

This workshop aimed to teach students and provide an understanding of the Thai herbal compress production process, from selecting raw materials, preparing herbs, wrapping them, to steaming techniques to ensure quality and aromatic properties, in accordance with Thai traditional medicine principles. The workshop also explored the properties of herbs used in the compresses, such as galangal, turmeric, lemongrass, kaffir lime peel, camphor, and salt, which all help relieve aches and pains, bruises, and reduce inflammation.
