Faculty members from the Allied Health Sciences program led a team to conduct vocational training for women in Samut Songkhram Province.

On May 22, 2026,

Faculty members from the College of Allied Health Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus.

Were invited as speakers in the Women's Career Training and Promotion Workshop Project, Samut Songkhram Province, towards becoming "The City of Gastronomy," at King Rama II Park.

The event was organized by the Samut Songkhram Provincial Women's Community Development Leaders Association, supported by the Samut Songkhram Provincial Women's Empowerment Fund and the Samut Songkhram Provincial Community Development Office.

The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Ranatthachai Phumcharoen, Deputy Governor of Samut Songkhram Province, who presided over the opening ceremony. Ms. Wasana Khwaiphan, Provincial Community Development Officer, also participated in welcoming the participants.

The activities included a lecture on upgrading snacks to create added value, delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wanwimon Mekvimol Kingkaew, Department of Community Public Health.

There were also career development and promotion activity stations as follows:

1. Perfumed Water Station, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Peerada Damapong, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Department of Public Health and Health Promotion.

2. Potpourri Station, led by Ms. Kulapassorn Phochanakul, Department of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine. Phra Nakhon Rajabhat University served as the lecturer for:

3. Healthy Salad Roll Station, led by Dr. Kantapong Prabsangob from the Department of Health and Beauty Science.

4. Snack and Beverage Station, led by Dr. Sureewan Siladlao, Head of the Community Public Health Department.

This project will enable women's groups to promote sustainable careers.
