“Providing knowledge and creating understanding about cannabis is very important. We will lose the opportunity to use cannabis to treat diseases and save lives of our fellow human beings, including losing economic opportunities. Thailand has taken the initiative and started before anyone else in the ASEAN region, but has not been able to move forward to success due to bias, ignorance, misunderstanding, and political interests. The College of Allied Health Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, uses education and research as a solution for cannabis for medical benefits and for the country’s economy,” concluded Associate Professor Dr. Somdech Rungsrisawat.
